Meet our mascot Manatee Beautiful

A manatee was selected as the mascot for Keep Manatee Beautiful because of our county's name. Manatee Beautiful promotes enhancing Manatee County's environment that will create a positive impression reflective of the overall community's quality of life, and be beneficial to residents and visitors alike.

Manatee Beautiful’s lily pad represents its water habitat. The necklace is of wildflowers representing the wildflower plantings on I-75 between S.R. 64 and S.R. 70. The pendant on Manatee Beautiful's necklace is our logo in support of Keep Manatee Beautiful's programs
