About the Event
The day after Independence Day is often one of the busiest cleanup days of the year, as beaches are left with litter from holiday celebrations. Join Keep Manatee Beautiful on Sunday, July 5, as we work together to restore Holmes Beach and help protect our wildlife, waterways, and the Gulf Coast we all love. Organizations such as Surfrider Foundation regularly refer to July 5 as one of the dirtiest days of the year for America's beaches due to the large amount of litter left behind after Fourth of July celebrations.
